Using or purchasing goods from our website means that you agree to the Terms and Conditions set out below. When placing an order with SkyWater Glass Ltd, you are making an offer to purchase the goods contained within that order. We reserve the right to accept or decline that offer. All prices are shown in British Pound Sterling and include all taxes applicable to the UK mainland.
Each product is handmade and therefore unique. No two pieces will be identical. Patterns and colours may vary. The reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow and glass colours can vary from batch to batch. Whilst every effort has been made to portray items accurately, no liability is accepted for any perceived variations between website depiction and actual product. Please note that from time to time we may alter specifications of our products and that any changes will be notified on this website.
Prices are correct at the time of publishing and include VAT where applicable. It may be necessary to change prices from time to time, including any changes to the rate of VAT. Any price changes will be confirmed to you at the time of ordering.
Products dimensions given are in centimetres and are approximate due to the nature of the processes we use. The maximum size for a single piece is 1m x 2m. After firing a fused glass splashback the thickness is variable and can be between 6-10mm thick depending on the design. For bespoke pieces customers are asked to supply the exact measurement of the area.
All of our products are made individually to order and therefore delivery times vary. We normally dispatch goods within 2 weeks of order. Delivery for bespoke pieces will be 2-3 weeks after the final order is placed, which will be after the design and consultation process has been completed. Please order well in advance if you require delivery for a specific date.
We try to keep our postage prices as low as possible. We try to absorb most of the delivery price ourselves, though for large splashbacks this may not be possible. Please contact us for a delivery price.
All goods to the UK mainland are delivered by a courier or Royal Mail services. These services require a signature for receipt of goods. We recommend that your delivery address is at a place where someone can sign for receipt of the goods.
SkyWater Glass Ltd will not be held responsible for any problems encountered in installing your goods. We recommend that all of our products are installed by a professional builder. Wall panels must be installed into sound walls and using the correct fixings applicable for the surface or wall construction type. Splashbacks can be installed with strong, flexible clear glazing silicon if the walls are even and the plaster in good condition. If a splashback is to be installed behind a hob or range, a minimum distance of 10cm from the back of the hob to the bottom of the splashback is essential. If this distance is less than 10cm an upstand with a height of at least 10cm should be installed first and the splashback placed on top of this.
If you are not fully satisfied with your order we will refund you in full as soon as all the items are returned to us safely.
Bespoke products: These are made to the customer’s specification and therefore ‘personalised’ as recognised by The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. As such it is not possible to return products unless faulty. You have the right to amend or cancel your bespoke order within 72 hours after the acknowledgement of order has been sent. We reserve the right to charge 100% of the cost of the product should cancellation occur after 72 hours.
If a product arrives damaged or a mistake has been made with an order, we will repair or replace (at our discretion) the product at no additional expense to the customer. We accept no liability for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or for any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that are caused by any event or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check products carefully and report any problems within 48 hours from receipt of goods. No liability will be taken for visible defects identified after having received a signed acceptance of delivery.
We want all our customers to be happy. Should you have a complaint with a product we provide, please contact us and we will do our very best to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.

SkyWater Glass Ltd's total liability for any claim arising in relation to any of its products shall not exceed the price of its products supplied to the customer. SkyWater Glass Ltd shall not be liable for any consequential loss arising from a breach of contract or in any other way. This statement does not affect your statutory rights. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information on this website, SkyWater Glass Ltd does not warrant that it will be error free, and the customer acknowledges that the information, products and services published on this website may include errors and typographical errors.
Any contract created as a result of using this website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. During the ordering process we collect the following information: your name and address; your contact telephone numbers (in case of a query); your email address.
We will confirm your personal details on our acknowledgement of order. You may check, amend or remove your personal details by contacting us. By ordering through our website, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal details by us.
